Artist’s Statement

The work that I am doing is about emotion and the beauty of the world. The power of imagery to evoke memories with emotions and facilitate words without language barriers memories is a fascinating concept. I use color, line, and depth to create abstract and impressionistic aesthetic. Each piece is unique and holds many memories in itself. 

Artist Biography

Desarae studied at Iowa State University College of Art and Design, where she received a BFA in Art and Design with a Minor in Military Science. Desarae currently resides in the Twin Cities area where she offers custom fine art pieces to patrons looking for art to match their home or office decor.

A resident  of  Minneapolis, Minnesota Desarae’s background is in fine art and web design so the layout and pre-game strategy is important, but improvisation is just as common. Acrylic paint on canvas are my favorite mediums to work with and I love the challenges that come from working with it. The process is never routine.
